We are so excited for the 2022 ROAR Run!  This will be our first year running the fundraiser as a PTA vs using an outside company. This means all of the proceeds will go directly to Meiklejohn.  Please read through for details.

Every parent will have received an email today from MemberHub about the ROAR Run.  You will receive one email, not one for each student. Please check your spam if you are not seeing the email.

This email will contain the link to the website as well as information on how to share the experience with family and friends. Or use the QR code to take you to the website.



  • April 22nd is the deadline for classes to meet the $50 average per student to be entered into the toy animal race for a chance to win a class pizza party
  • April 28th ROAR Run Fan Pack orders and Water Bottle orders to go home with students
  • April 29th the ROAR Run (rain day May 2nd)
  • May 2nd laps will be loaded into the website (May 3rd for rain day)
  • May 6th last day for all donations
  • May 13th Prize Day/Field Day


ROAR Run Fan Pack ~ This year parents and family are invited to come cheer on your student! We will be selling a fun ROAR Run Fan pack for $10.  The pack will include a water tube to cool your student off, a cowbell, and a pompom in a drawstring backpack.  Supplies are limited so order early.  If purchased by April 27th the fan pack will go home with your student otherwise it will be available to pick up on the field at the ROAR Run. You can purchase your Fan Pack by using this QR code through the Memberhub Store.



Meiklejohn Water Bottles ~ We are also selling aluminum water bottles for $12.  These water bottles are 24 ounces with a pop to sip top and feature the Meiklejohn logo. If you wish to purchase one for your student to use at the ROAR Run please do so by April 27th so they can go home with your student on April 28th.  Supplies are limited so order early.





Volunteer Opportunities ~ Since the PTA is putting on the ROAR Run this year we are looking for several volunteers to support this experience for our students.  You can sign up to volunteer by scanning this QR code.




Schedule ~ Here is our tentative schedule of times the classes will run so you can mark your calendar to come cheer them on.

8:15 am ~ 3rd grade

9:00 am ~ 1st grade

9:45 am ~ Kindergarten

10:30 am ~ 5th grade

11:15 am ~ 4th grade

12:00 pm ~ 2nd grade

Individual Prizes ~ These prizes are cumulative.

  • $50 raised ~ Meiklejohn Sticker
  • $100 raised ~ Meiklejohn Sunglasses
  • $200 raised ~ Meiklejohn Canvas Pencil Case with Pencil
  • $300 raised ~ Meiklejohn Mountain Lion Keychain

Class Prizes ~ These are also cumulative.

  • $50/class average per student by April 22nd – There will be a toy animal race for each class meeting this goal, two classes who will win. One winner for Kindergarten- Second grade and another winner for Third – Fifth grade.  The winners will have a class pizza party.
  • $75/class average per student by May 6th. This will earn each student Kona Ice on Field Day.
  • $100/class average per student by May 6th. This will earn the students a foam party on Field Day.
  • Fifth Grade Only Incentive ~ $100/grade average per student by May 6th will earn a photo booth at their continuation celebration.
