Fall Festival

The 2023 Fall Festival will be held on Friday, October 6th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. behind the school.

Fall Fest tickets are now on sale at the Meiklejohn PTA store (https://meiklejohn.memberhub.com/store?limit=21&live=true&category=Events). Wristbands are $25.00 before the event and $30.00 at the event. Individual tickets can also be purchased for $0.50 before or at the event. You can preorder wristbands and tickets online until October 2nd. This lets you skip the lines at the event and save $5.00 per wristband. Become a Pride or Mountain Lion PTA Member by October 1st and receive 2 free wristbands. Preordered wristbands and tickets will be sent home in Thursday folders on October 5th.

WILL THERE BE FOOD? Yes, there will be food trucks with dinner, drink and dessert options.

WHAT ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT WILL BE THERE? This year’s activities will include a pumpkin patch, photo booth, cake walk, balloon artists, obstacle courses, hay ride, carnival games, live DJ and more.

WILL MY LITTLE ONE HAVE ENOUGH TO DO? We try to plan something for all ages. There will be a Kiddie Area intended for children in first grade and below that is separated from the main area. It may be best to buy individual tickets for toddlers.

DO I NEED TO BUY A WRISTBAND TO WALK AROUND? No, you’re welcome to walk around or get food from the food trucks without a wristband or ticket. Wristbands or tickets are only required to participate in activities.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH A WRISTBAND? Nearly everything is included. That means your child can go through the inflatable obstacle course as many times as they want, enjoy hay rides, play any carnival game and decorate pumpkins. Each wristband also lets you pick one pumpkin from the patch!

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH A WRISTBAND? Any food or drinks provided by the food trucks (the vendors do charge, but most donate a portion of their proceeds back to our school), and additional pumpkin patch pumpkins. One pumpkin is included with a wristband. Additional pumpkins can be purchased with tickets purchased ahead of or at the event.

WILL THERE BE PRIZES? There will not be a prize room this year, but a few carnival games and activities will include small prizes.

WHO CAN ATTEND? The Fall Festival is Meiklejohn’s annual community event, and is open to anyone. Invite your neighbors, friends and extended family to join in on the fun.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER? DOES THE PTA NEED ANY HELP? Volunteers make this event a success. Each year, we have many teachers, staff, parents, middle school and high school students who volunteer.
