The Science, Engineering and Robotics Fair will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020.
Sponsored by Code Ninjas and Mountain State Financial Group.
Students are encouraged to perform experiments, build a model, create a robot, or complete any other project that excites them. The goal of the fair is for all students to have fun learning and exploring a topic of their interest. Students can participate alone or in a group with one or two other students.
Date: Friday, March 6th – all participants must be registered by 2/28

Be sure to include your student’s name, grade and teacher. Also, indicate if you will need access to power. If working in a group, each student must register separately and note their team members.
Set up: Projects will be set up in the gym the morning of the fair from 6:45-7:45 am
Judging: Each student or team will present their project to the judges between 8am-12pm. Their judging time will be coordinated with each student’s teacher.
Open House: All projects will be available for open viewing from 2:45-5:00pm. All participants and their families are invited to a pizza party to celebrate their hard work at 3:30 pm.
Take Down: All projects must be removed from the gym by 5:00 pm. We ask that projects not be removed prior to 4:30pm to allow all attendees to enjoy the projects.
Guidelines:
- Students will be judged on their use of the Scientific Method and their learnings from their experiment or project.
- Information presented on the display should look age appropriate and should only be typed if the student can do the typing. Handwritten information is absolutely acceptable.
- Parent assistance should not be obvious.
